For more than two decades Harry, Ron and Hermione have brought delight to readers and viewers of all ages. Montegrappa's designers have gone to extraordinary lengths to celebrate their famous home: the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Each design in the collection imagines a pen any Harry Potter fan will be proud to wield. The school's four student houses – Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Gryffindor – are faithfully recreated in original colors for different fan tribes and personality types.

More than twenty-five years ago, a young Harry Potter was whisked onto the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾ at Kings Cross Station, sweeping fans everywhere along with him into a magical universe.
Scarlet, black and gold conjure memories of the world's most magical locomotive. Operated by Hogwarts Railways, the Hogwarts Express itself adorns the cap, etched into golden steel.
Weighting, finishing and detailing point to a writing instrument primed for academic performance. The Hogwarts school shield and a pair of dapper enameled stripes decorate a durable, spring-loaded clip.
Montegrappa's Harry Potter Platform 9¾ fountain pen is equipped with a #6 steel nib and fills with a cartridge or converter. A broad range of specially formulated Harry Potter inks is also available.
Italy's first pen producer, Montegrappa, began manufacturing pens in 1912 in its factory in Bassano del Grappa in Italy. Utilizing natural celluloid and precious metals, Montegrappa combines traditional methods such as die-casting with more recent innovations such as low-relief engraving to form their precious art objects. Beneath a red cabochon that recalls the Philosopher's (aka Sorcerer's) Stone, low-relief engraving, guilloché and vermeil distinguish a connoisseur-grade pen steeped in Hogwarts heraldry. Arranged around a jet-black core, precious metals form a tartan grid comprising the shields of the famous school and its four rival houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
The Hogwarts coat of arms is recreated on each face of the barrel using artisanal, lost wax casting and gold vermeil. Surrounding it are the crests of Hogwarts' rival houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, with house colors realized in vitreous enamel applied by hand to exquisite guilloché and bas-relief finishes.
