Sir Perceval, also known as Perceval of Wales, is one of the most significant knights in King Arthur's legends and one of the foremost members of the Knights of the Round Table.
In many versions of the story, he is the son of King Pellinore. After his father's death, Perceval was raised in seclusion by his mother, who wanted to protect him from the dangers of knightly life. He thus grew up innocent and uncorrupted, unaware of his noble origins.
When Perceval first hears of knights, he leaves his home and sets off for Camelot. There, he quickly distinguishes himself through his courage, purity, and unwavering sense of justice. Despite his lack of experience, his sincerity and determination lead him to greatness, and he becomes one of the most prominent figures in the quest for the Holy Grail.
