Niue - Disney - Mickey Mouse: Art Deco Foil With Chase
Description
The magic of Mickey Mouse has never faded since his iconic debut in 1928.
The bold geometry of the 1920s gave rise to the elegant Art Deco movement, a style that came to influence both early animation and visual design. This exclusive 5g .999 fine silver foil celebrates the shared heritage of Art Deco and animation through a stylish portrait of Mickey Mouse inspired by the classic era.
And so came Mickey Mouse…
Discover the opportunity to find the exclusive alternative design. A unique black and white variant with graphic precision, bold geometric shapes, spirals, and clean lines – a modern tribute to the Art Deco style. Only a 10% chance of finding this rare variant.
This officially licensed Disney silver foil is the first release in the Art Deco Collection series – a three-part series celebrating Disney's most beloved characters through timeless design and exclusive collectible art.
The obverse features an elegant Art Deco-inspired portrait of Mickey Mouse, while the reverse is adorned with the iconic Mickey Mouse silhouette along with the Niue coat of arms, confirming the foil as legal tender.
In total, only 2,000 copies exist worldwide, with each foil individually numbered on the obverse. Of these, only 200 copies are the rare black and white variant design, also individually numbered.
