Niue - Japanese Movie Posters - Star Wars: A New Hope
Description
When Star Wars™ received a completely new identity in the East.
When Star Wars: A New Hope™ was released in Japan in 1978, the film received a unique new interpretation through an exclusive Japanese cinema poster. It combined Japanese design sensibility with the grand space-adventurous world of Star Wars, creating one of the most distinctive and sought-after artworks in the franchise's history.
Now, this iconic motif is recreated as an exclusive 20 g .999 fine silver foil, framed by an elegant border with a mirror-like finish. The reverse features the Japanese inscription:
「フォースと共にあれ」
(Fōsu to tomo ni are)
”May the Force be with you”
Only 1,000 copies worldwide have been produced, and each foil is individually numbered on the reverse.
The obverse features the classic 1978 Japanese Star Wars: A New Hope™ cinema poster in full color, while the reverse has an exclusive frosted finish with the Star Wars™ logo and the iconic message in Japanese.
Crafted from 20 g of .999 fine silver, the foil combines color, frosted details, and an exclusive proof-like finish, giving the original artwork an impressive presence.
This officially licensed Star Wars™ collectible comes in exclusive packaging with the original design and an official Mark of Authenticity.
Each foil also comes with a practical stand so that it can be displayed in your collection and is designed to fit perfectly with future silver foils in the series.
