Cook Islands - Steampunk – Aviation Kilo Edition
Description
Steampunk is and remains a cultural phenomenon. This subculture within science fiction, which influences everything from film to fashion, has grown in popularity and influence since it was first mentioned in the 1980s. Loosely defined, it is about how people during the Victorian era, 200 years ago, imagined today's future.
This is now the sixth and final edition in the successful series. As always, the combination of ultra-high relief in an antique finish with partially gilded elements is a particularly distinctive feature.
This time, the focus is on aviation and the various means of transport that seemed possible with the means of the time. The designer has also come up with something quite special and built 5 clues into the design that allude to the previous editions.
And for those who love the extraordinary in a large format, the 1 kg edition is now presented – an impressive highlight that further underscores the unique and playful character of the series.
