Germania - Gods of Germania - Nanna - Gold
Description
Nanna – goddess of love, devotion, and marital fidelity – holds a special place in Germanic mythology as Baldur’s wife. Her story is one of profound love, whose strength endures even in the face of the greatest loss. After her beloved husband’s death, Nanna dies of grief and is laid beside him on the pyre. Her figure symbolizes boundless love, loyalty, and a bond that transcends the boundary between life and death, lending her legend an exceptionally moving dimension.
The gold bar featuring Nanna’s portrait continues the Gods of Germania series, dedicated to the most important figures in Germanic mythology. The obverse shows a portrait of the goddess that highlights her elegance, dignity, and timeless beauty. The reverse bears the Germania Mint logo along with detailed information about the bar’s weight and the purity of the gold. The bar is minted in gold with a purity of 999.9 from certified, LBMA-accredited suppliers.
Each Gods of Germania: Nanna 1/100 oz Au Proof 999.9 Minted Bar is individually packaged in a protective Safepack for secure storage and elegant presentation. The edition is limited to 5,000 pieces. The gold bar featuring Nanna is an excellent choice for collectors who appreciate mythological stories of love, devotion, and unbreakable bonds.
