The name Rome feared. The 15th and final issue in the Legendary Warriors series honors Attila the Hun – one of antiquity's most feared rulers.

Attila ruled the Hunnic Empire from 434 to 453 AD and united various tribes under his leadership. He transformed their combined strength into a mighty army that threatened Roman territories across Europe. His authority held this alliance together, while his ambition drove its armies forward.

From the Balkans to Gaul, Attila challenged Rome's power. In 451 AD, Roman and allied forces halted his advance at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains. But this setback did not stop his campaigns. The following year, he invaded northern Italy and brought the threat of conquest into the Roman heartland.

After his death in 453 AD, the empire splintered due to conflicts over who would rule next and by uprisings. Tribes that had once been united under his leadership broke away, demonstrating how much they had depended on him to stay together. His empire fell apart. His name lived on.

Attila remains a symbol of fierce ambition and determination – a reminder that a ruler's power may fade, but their legacy can endure for centuries.

Fifteen warriors. Fifteen enduring legacies. With Attila the Hun, the Legendary Warriors collection is complete.
